Pernell Hess, a production superintendent at Sparks Belting Company, started his career at the company as an assembler in the pulley department. He now uses that experience to connect with team members working on the shop floor. While the every day responsibilities of his job no longer require him to be out on the floor, Pernell invests time into building relationships with his staff.
